Is This The Best Budget Knife of 2026? Remette Steed Review!
Published: 1 week ago
The Remette Steed might be one of the best budget EDC knives of 2026. Remette has been on fire lately, and this more budget-friendly version of the original premium RT Steed is another huge win. After spending time with it, I liked it so much that I immediately bought a second one.
In this Remette Steed pocket knife review, I take a close look at the 3.30" 14C28N stainless steel drop point blade, the slicey thin blade geometry, the sculpted Micarta handles, the smooth action, and the unique button-actuated liner lock system. This knife has great ergonomics, excellent grip, fast thumb stud deployment, and real EDC performance at a budget-friendly price.
I also put the Remette Steed through my usual cutting tests, and it handled everything with no issues. The 14C28N blade steel offers a great balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, toughness, and easy maintenance, making it a strong choice for everyday carry. Is the Remette Steed the best budget knife of 2026? It may be too early to say for sure, but this one is absolutely in the conversation and could easily end up in my top 3 budget knives of the year.
If you're into budget EDC knives, 14C28N pocket knives, Micarta handle knives, button liner locks, or just want a great everyday carry blade that feels way better than its price, the Remette Steed is definitely worth checking out.
