Vixino Tobico Review: This Pocket Fixed Blade Is a Home Run!
Published: 1 week ago
Today we're taking a close look at the Vixino Tobico EDC Fixed Blade, a compact pocket-sized fixed blade that seriously impressed me.
At only 6.25 inches overall, the Tobico hits that sweet spot for everyday carry, especially if you like smaller fixed blades that can disappear in the pocket or ride comtortably on the belt.
This knife features a versatile modified drop point blade made from 14C28N stainless steel, giving you a great balance of edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance, and budget-friendly performance. After putting it through my normal testing, the Tobico performed better than most other knives I've tested this year in the same price range. Vixino has been on a roll, and in my book, they are now three for three with their current knife lineup. The contoured Micarta scales feel great in multiple grips, and the milled texture adds even more traction to an already grippy handle. Add in the thin blade geometry, great slicing performance, minimal Kydex sheath, and multiple carry options, and this one checks a lot of boxes.
If you're looking for a compact EDC fixed blade that is comfortable, slicey, easy to carry, and a strong value, the Vixino Tobico is an easy one for me to recommend. Let me know what you think of the Vixino Tobico. Would you pocket carry a compact fixed blade like this?
