CIVIVI's New Lock Design Is Genius or a Mistake?
Published: 3 days ago
Today we're taking a close look at the CIVIVI
Zygon, a new pocket knife with a bold geometric design, Nitro-V drop point blade, and CIVIVI's innovative Top Crossbar Lock. This lock is actuated from the spine of the handle, making it easy to pull back and operate one-handed.
The Zygon features orange and black Vortex Micarta scales, a smooth caged ceramic bearing pivot, and a comfortable EDC-focused design that feels better in hand than its blocky shape might suggest. We put it through our normal cutting tests, checked the ergonomics in multiple grips, and then took it apart to see how the new lock and internal construction work.
If you're curious about CIVIVI's latest lock design, how the Zygon slices, or whether this unique knife is worth adding to your everyday carry lineup, this review covers it all.
