Benchmade has been around forever. When I thought of "expensive pocket knife" as a youngster, I thought of Benchmade. My fist $100+ knife was a Benchmade... Though it was under 100 to me, at a pawn shop. Then I sold it on ebay for like 150 (good times) because it just didn't do much for me.
