Detent Ramp Instructional Knife hard to open? 5min. DIY fix! Dremmel Fun Twosun TS64 Titanium D2
Published: 1 year ago
Most knives need a bit of wearing in, but some have a detent that's just too strong. This is one quick fix that reduces the possibility of damaging your lock bar, like bending it can do.
Pay attention to the low angle I use. You DON'T want to angle down at a 45* to the detent hole, or anything close. This ramp will be nearly parallel with the blade surface. Angling down in, can cause detent lash. Always try a little before trying a deeper cut. Too deep results in a detent that's too light.
If aren't sure of any details, hit me up! And have a nice day!
