The D-1 Assisted Quick Release Military Knife performs well according to its price tag. The assisted release allows for a crisp, quick locking of the blade. Return of the blade to its resting position is also smooth. The dimensions and material of the knife handle make for a comfortable and reliable grip.
Blade can be sharpened to make a clean cut on paper and holds its edge fairly well. Knife comes lightly oiled, sealed in a zip plastic bag in a cardboard box.
