Five production knives designed by Jerry Hossom: Spyderco, Outdoor Edge, V-Nives

Knife designer Jerry Hossom is known for large blades with recurve edge with a difficult-to-classify tip shape that could be called a drop point tanto. Here I look at a few of the models made in collaboration with Spyderco, Outdoor Edge and V-Nives, ranging widely in size and price. While I'm not a model name "Deplorable," I acknowledge that there's a lot to like about these designs, which are comfortable in hand and capable of all sorts of cutting tasks.
