Spyderco DISCONTINUED Genzow HatchetHawk unboxing

One of Spyderco's first forays into the axe market is... no longer on the market (as of August 2023). An interesting design that combined the Francisca Axe, Bearded Axe and traditional tomahawk, the Martin Genzow-designed HatchetHawk was much maligned for its polypropylene handle and canted blade. I think it would work well as a hammer and for smaller cutting (not so much chopping) tasks around camp, Some users (not me) could imagine tactical applications. This thing comes with an absolutely beautiful leather sheath.
