Just How Good is the CRK Sebenza?

For nearly three decades, the Chris Reeve Sebenza has been recognized as one of the best production or mid-tech knives on the market. (To beat it, you'd need to get a fully custom knife, with a stupendous price tag.) But the knife market has been evolving, with many makers upping their game in recent years. Can anything beat the Sebenza in 2026? Well, my knife collection isn't comprehensive of every knife in the world, but it contains some strong contenders. So I asked myself--how do these great knives stack up to the Idaho-made CRK Sebenza? I looked at several examples from , , and others. My sample Sebenza is the DLT Exclusive Large Sebenza with a drop point blade and Elforyn SuperTusk inlays on a titanium frame.
