Spyderco Balance Sprint Run Knife: Another Tiny Bit of Awesomeness from Ed Schempp

Published: 3 days ago

Spyderco first produced the Ed-Schempp-designed Balance knife in 2010. This weird folder represents everything I love about Spyderco: it's unique, it works, and it's well made. Now available again as a sprint run, the Balance features Spyderco's proprietary SPY27 blade steel and blue G10 handle scale over a steel frame with a Reeve Integral Lock (R.I.L.).
The knife is on the pricey side, which seems to be a trend lately, not just for Spyderco but for many knife makers. In this video, I take a look at Spyderco's long legacy of making awesome, highly-capable knives with small blades.
