Spyderco's Sage 6 is one heckuva knife! Comparing other button locks and other Sage series knives

The Spyderco Sage 6 features a button-actuated compression lock (first seen on the Spyderco Smock). Now that Spyderco's patent has expired and other manufacturers can make this same lock is this knife still worth the hefty price tag?
