Cold Steel Hatamoto: One Tanto Knife to Rule Them All
Published: 5 days ago
Nearly twenty years ago, Cold Steel released the original Hatamoto. With a four-inch long blade of San Mei steel with a wicked tanto point, the knife was one of Cold Steel's most attractive--and most expensive--folders. Discontinued for years, the Hatamoto is back in 2025 with a facelift for the 60 Series of premium knives. Now featuring a black-coated blade in CPM-20CV and a carbon fiber handle, the Hatamoto looks better than ever. Bridging the distance between a classy collector piece and a capable tactical knife, it's a pretty cool option for the serious knife enthusiast.
