Modern and high hardness steels aren't hard to sharpen, your skills just aren't up to the task.

Discussion about how modern and high hardness steels aren't hard to sharpen it's just lack of the required skill set to get the job done. Carbide rich steels all the way to poorly done M390, 20CV and 204P. Proper heatvtreat, micro structure and geometry all aid in sharpen ability. Why I don't use factory edges and getting past the biggest hurdle in starting to sharpen, the fear of messing up your knife. All this and more.
