Ribsplitter "Draug" Special Purpose Custom Libre/Pikal Fixed Blade Fighter

Matt Carlson runs a small custom knife making shop in Kansas - Ribsplitter Knifeworks, and turns out a modest number of fixed blades oriented towards the Libre knife fighting methods, which means generally, point-down /edge-in. This example, among many models, is the Draug, a name taken from the old Norse "Draugr," defined as "a ghost, spirit, esp. the dead inhabitant of a cairn." -Wikipedia
These are purpose driven blades and have little purpose for EDC, except as last ditch defensive tools, but Matt puts beauty in each, as you can see in the Kirinite acrylic handle in gold color on my example - deadly works of art! Each blade is unique because he uses no jigs or water cutting for his blade blanks. They are entirely hand done of 1084 steel, 3/16" stock. No two are exactly the same.
