What's a Tanto? Quick overview of the evolution of the tanto blade design!

Yes, well we hear the debates on whether it's "Taaanto" or "Tan(toes)" ;-)
But here in a short video I'd like to tackle the question of what consititutes a Traditional Japanese Tanto knife design. Seems that if you were born after, say, the year 2000 you may only know of that cultural sidestep initiated by Lynn Thompson back around '82 called the Cold Steel Tanto. So, here I take a look at the chisel point grind and the tradtiional grinds to perhaps broaden perspectves!
