Tantos of 2025! My Ten Favorite Japanese Blades of the Year

Tantos I've acquired in 2025 at the top of my list. Hope you tanto lovers and others enoy! List and Links below... No promises on availability, as that will change over time. Certainly there is some debate over what constitutes a "Tanto" and what does not, with the most significant area of conversation being over the so called, "American" tanto vs. Traditional ones. Here we have a selection of each, including the sharpley faceted point and the rounded belly traditional Japanese style, as well as Kaiken or Kwaiken.
