Is This American Made Survival Knife Worth The Price? - Zero Tolerance 0006 Review

Published: 1 year ago

There is no better way to test out a survival knife than using it to make a brightly colored drink in the woods. With that in mind we headed into the hills with the Zero Tolerance 0006 for a very thorough test.

If you feel this review is lacking in details and knife specs, you can check out our written Review of the ZT 6 on our website. https://www.nothingbutknives.com/zero-tolerance-0006-review/

Or you can check out Gideon Tactical's video review. He talks about blade profile and toughness and other useful things like that. He also cuts up fruit, but in a cooler way than we did. You can watch that here:

If you've read this far below the video that must mean you're hunting for the drink recipe. It's called a Watermelon Bourbon Smash. Pretty good summer drink, even with a full salad of mint leaves floating around in it.

Here's how you make it:

Step 1 - Cut up a watermelon.
Sep 2 - Smash the watermelon into something that can hold the liquid.
Step 3 - Strain the liquid using a coffee filter.
Step 4 - Chop up some mint leaves.
Step 5 - Muddle some mint leaves.
Step 6 - Pour some of the watermelon juice into a glass. (We have no idea how much; just follow your heart.)
Step 7 - Pour some bourbon into a glass. (We have no idea how much. Same rule applies.)
Step 8 - Pour some watermelon mint flavored sparkling water into a glass (Hopefully you've been pouring all this into the same glass up to this point.)
Step 9 - Stir it all up with a big ass survival knife of your choosing.
