Is your edge losing its bite? Not cutting into cardboard like it used to? Consider stropping. A leather strop loaded with compound is my favorite way to finish and maintain edges. It's very forgiving, quick, easy, and it will keep an edge going and going without having to touch your stones. Don't forget to save this for later!
Just light pressure, edge trailing strokes 10-20 per side (or as many as needed), will have your edge up and running in no time; usually less than a minute!
If you're looking to pick up a strop or have other questions about strops, check out the link in my bio for more info
