Inexpensive vs Cheap: Examining (and taking apart) an Ontario RAT 2 and a Gas Station Knife
Published: 8 years ago
Today, I'd like to demonstrate the difference between a cheap knife, an inexpensive (but good) knife, and an expensive (and great!) knife.
To do this, I'm comparing the Spyderco Slysz Bowie ($270), the Ontario Rat 2 ($30), and a $9 Zombie Hunter Z-Hunter purchased from my local gas station.
Turns out that, particularly once you take them apart, that you actually do get what you pay for. And in the case of the Z-Hunter, I paid for a piece of crap.
Hope you find this as entertaining as I did!
