The Aegis Hoplite is a Titanium Slab-sided Midtech Framelock Flipper knife meant for your EDC. It's well built, with a nice blade shape, and great fit-and-finish, and there's not much wrong with it, aside from a stiff clip. But it's also a very "safe" design, which isn't so different than the many other Titanium Slab-sided Midtech Framelock Flippers out there. So, there's not much passion to be found here, either. If you love it, go for it. But if you're not in love, $400 buys a lot of more unique knives.
