These French Knifemakers do it right! I am amazed with the design of these tactical knives. First off, I will start off with the sleek and fierce design of the razor sharp Arachnid. Fitting name, since it actually reminds me of a spider. If it were a spider, it would definitely be a black widow because this thing is deadly. It came nicely oiled and razor sharp inside its Kydex sheath. The sleek handle provides maximum gripping feel and full closure in the hand. It’s easy to fit my hand securely around the handle, ideal for a tactical design. The blade shape trails up to a fine and mean piercing tip that could split easily through surfaces. Rising higher than the spine axis, it makes way for a large cutting area for slicing and skinning. The custom feel also really comes from the unique Acid splashes that differ on every handmade blade from these French Knifemakers.
The Arachnid Nano Offers a similar feel in a more compact package. Despite its small size, the finger loop and wide index finger indent offer sercitriy in the hand. Take notice to the curved base of the spine for ideal ideal thumb placement. The Naon knife is placed ideally in its sheath to offer a quick draw by grabbing the finger loop. I’m in love. If you want specs and video footage of these blades check my video post I made a few days back.
