Happy weekend! Today I am building fire with the UWHARRIE Bushcraft knife. This is a solid do-it-all field knife for those that prefer a wider blade. It’s full-tang 440c steel blade with a built-in storage compartment in the handle.

The grip really locks your hands in a comfortable control and the kydex sheath has the morse code alphabet on it. The Ferro rod it comes with isn’t a crappy one either, it’s thick and throw hot substantial sparks. My complaint is that I could not disassemble the handle.

The blade is thick enough to break down firewood, but features a high flat grind that gets down to a pretty fine edge for whittling wood. Msrp was 300 but now its only 169 on the UWHARRIE site.

Name UWHARRIE Bushcraft Blade
Msrp 169.00
Overall Length: 9.5 inches (24.13 cm)
Blade Length: 4.5 inches (11.43 cm)
