Reasons to Carry OTF Knfie
Published: 2 weeks ago
Have you have ever carried or wanted to carry an OTF, what is your reasoning? When I was pocket checking a range day in South Carolina, the number one brand being brought out was KRATE Tactical. From that point, I knew I needed to eventually get my hands on one. They sent me a Monarch to check out and immediately upon deployment, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the action felt. Very much a Goldilocks-type feel, the spring retention is not to soft nor is it too tense. I also don’t feel like I’m breaking my thumb off, trying to deploy it ????.
The handle would be more suitable for larger hands than my own, but I still found it extremely comfortable in the grip, especially with the index finger slot thing-a-ma-jig (technical term).
Stylistically, it’s a beautiful, looking knife, I love the black on black, subtle machining accents, and the choice of a Western tanto tip to finish off an elegantly aggressive design.
Knife: KRATE Tactical Monarch
Msrp 179.00
Lifetime Warranty
4.9 oz
9.25" total length
4" blade length
Aluminum handle
D2 blade steel
Deep carry pocket clip
Ceramic glass breaker tip
