VERO Engineering recently dropped the third edition to their AVID series, the AVID III. This variation features a 3.25 inch Tanto blade shape with an attractive (but also useful) compound grind.
One of the things I love about the AVID series is the sound they make when opening - I’m guessing it has something to do with the skeletonized titanium liners and the way the lock up resonates throughout the frame.
At 3.5 ounces, the knife is decently light but it still has a robust feel with the overall size and the reinforcement of the titanium liners.
The AViD stays thrue to the ???? clean ????lines and silhouette that Vero is known for. The action is smooth and crispy and initiated with a sleek, non-intrusive flipper tab.
These are now alive and have a variety of variants to choose from.
