Is Extension Knife strong?

Had some questions regarding the Boker Extension Knife and its lock strength. It’s a heavy-duty cross bolt lock with 2 connection points through the tang. When the knife is locked out in both the long and short position, the 2 thick internal handles pins slide into the the tang, essentially making it a fixed blade.
It’s .20” thick D2 blade rests between to thick liners. The thing is an absolute tank and even though it has a peculiar looking mechanism that folds out, it could be classified as fixed.
These sold out really quickly when they first went up on the Boker website but they just got some restocked.
