How to clean an OTF Knife
Published: 6 days ago
Product in video: https://www.tektoknives.com/products/a5-spry. How to clean your OTF featuring the Tekto A5 Spry. To be honest, this Knife has never misfired on me, but it’s one of my most attractive OTF Knives, and looked pretty in the video.
How to clean OTF:
1. Spray REM oil into the knife. There are other lubricants you can use, but you want to make sure they have high viscosity. Anything too thick will gunk up the internals.
2. Fire your OTF knife and jiggle the blade to move the oil throughout the internals
3. Spray compressed air into Knife to shoot out excess oil
4. Optional: add Knife oil to your button
5. Wipe down your knife and it should be firing like new!

Handle Material: 6061-T6 Aluminum
Blade Material: Titanium-coated S35VN
Blade Hardness: 60-62
