Today I’m checking out a combat blade handmade by a Serbian Knife Company, MGBN Knives. Every part of this knife is made to do one thing — inflict maximum damage with minimal effort. The designer, Milan Gavrilović is a member of the Serbian Army’s most elite unit. He uses his extensive experience to design handmade blades with clear intentions.
“Exceptional penetration capability outstanding cutting performance” where the objectives in mind when creating this design, Dusan.
It did not take a lot of effort to pierce through the melons, minimal thrusting power, honestly surprised me. The shape of this knife reminds me almost like some sort of hybrid between a Persian fighting knife and tanto blade. The handle, while too large for my hands allows me to have a lot of manipulation with different ways to hold. It also provides plenty of room for someone with standard male-sized hands.
I had the pleasure of meeting this company at SHOT Show last January and they were very passionate and intentional about their handmade designs. It’s fun getting my hands on smaller names and especially design that are handmade like this one.
