Story behind my New Knife design

Coming to dealers December 12th: My new design with Jack Wolf Knives: the “Backwoods FixEDC” knife. This is a compact fixed blade EDC knife (6 inches overall length) made with premium materials. The design inspiration draws from a Westminster steak knife I like, mixed with the desire to create a fixed blade that also had design elements and appearance of a slipjoint knife (but is fixed!). My hope is for this Knife to be a companion that can be carried every day, at the dinner table, and in the woods. It’s lightweight at 2-2.4 ounces and comes with a stitched leather sheath that can be worn around the belt loop or inside the pocket.

I will have a lot more details to follow, including a longform video on my YouTube channel talking about this design. There will 4 variations available, including this titanium starburst handle pattern with bronze anodized titanium accents (my favorite).
