If you like QSP and crossbar locks, the Reptile might just be for you. The crossbar tension is not adjustable *but* it feels like a Goldilocks of tension; not too stiff, not too loose.
There several highlights on this knife for me:
-The contoured full-sized handle that features a curvy “palm swell” that fits nicely into the “pocket” of the hand. The handle length slightly too long for my hands but would be suitable for medium or large male hands.
-The blade shape: its purdy, its sleek, its functional. A sweeping droppoint with a thumb ramp that features jimping
-The Blade-to-handle ratio: there is no wasted room!
Cons: lanyard hole placement (too “high” up). I like the fold over pocket clip because it’s lower profile and reversible, but the backspacer it’s attached to adds some extra weight to the end of the blade.
The Reptile runs $75-79 and features 14c28n blade steel with either aluminum or G10 handles.
