The historical Sailors Knife

Published: 1 week ago

How cool is this? The “ Sailors Knife” is collaboration between Boker and History Knife & Tool. To my knowledge, it’s a historically accurate depiction of traditional sailors knives that were used on merchant ships all over the world and within naval rinks. The German Navy still carries these knives today with minimal variations.

The Sailor Knife also bares a striking resemblance to the famous Kephart Knife designed by Horace Kephart, consider as one of the godfathers of modern day Bushcraft .

The Sailor Knife recently became available at Böker for $62. Any day I get to add a historical type knife to my collection is a good day.
