Don’t come at me for my twirling attempts ???? When I held the Kansept HAZARD at SHOT Show 2025… I knew I was going to need one when they got released. It’s weird. It’s fidgety. And it might take some practice to get the hang of it (but that’s what makes it fun)
This is a Steven Dunnuck design with an innovative Bali-lock mechanism that has been refined a bit since I held it back in January (for what I am, assuming are safety reasons). There is a detent ball that holds the spine lockbar in place. When you insert you finger into the crack of the lock bar with some light pressure, it releases the detent ball and allows you to deploy the blade by swinging it outward. There is a thick slice of metal attached to the lock bar that slides snuggly beneath the bottom of the blade’s tang to keep it locked out while it is deployed.
It comes in 4 different colors and is 3.63 inches worth of CPM S35vn steel with a titanium handle for $143 buckaroos when you use code MELISSA10 at checkout.
