Very Caffeinated Knife Unboxing

Published: 1 day ago

A very caffeinated unboxing…Clean and simple, the Tarkin by Kansept really was fun to snap around with today. The action really got me excited, just the slightest push of the thumb and it slides out effortless. The click of the detent locking up is very satisfying.

Alongside many other frame lock knives, the acoustics (sound of the knife) line up well with the satisfying action to make it a very enjoyable opening experience (if you can’t tell by the video)

This is a very clean and minimalist design, executed by Matthew Christensen of Illinois (hey, a fellow Midwesterner!)! The blade is a thin and sleek drop point with some seemingly Asian influences perhaps? Whatever it is, it’s a nice looking design with a good blade to handle ratio

Bummer is that it’s right-handed use only (the curse of non-ambidextrous frame locks continues!).

The Tiger stripe variant is currently sold out but the Damascus is still available for 190. There are several other flavors as well on the Kansept website
