Compact Combat Knife with a “Reverse Palm Swell”

Published: 1 week ago

Curious in your opinion! The “reverse palm swell”on the MKC t24 interested me. They say it is to prevent rotational movement. In theory, this makes sense for something like a compact combat knife (which essentially is what this knife is).

I prefer a slightly rounded pommel on wood knives as they are held in the hand for a significant amount of time to do things like carving.

I can see where the idea for the inversion of the handle can make sense though this is not my area of expertise. I’m genuinely interested on opinions lol. This knife also has strategic machining at the top of the handle. That part is cut away which allow room for the out part of the palm to rest while the knife is held in reverse/icepick grip.
