Update via the GoFundMe page by Maggy Norwood:
It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of John’s fiancé, Julie. Unfortunately she did not survive the storm. We take comfort in knowing she is at peace and no longer suffering. Julie was such a kind hearted soul, absolutely a match made in heaven for John. Now we must learn to navigate life without her.
Asking for prayers for peace and acceptance. See you in the wind, baby girl. John was a US Army veteran who dreamed of opening a shop to teach PTSD affected veterans blacksmithing for free to help them. He is a very kind human and beloved in the blacksmithing community. His fiancé Julie is still missing and his entire house and Shop was wiped away by the floods. If you cannot help donate, please help spread awareness
*edit: originally I did not have this video monetized but I am now monetizing it and putting all revenue donations to towards hurricane relief
