Range Debrief - Left Handed AR15 300 BLK Build - Diagnosing Issues & Rundown of Parts

This was my first full lefty AR15 build. I put the lower and upper together on this 300 BLK rifle. My goal with this project was to prove a true left handed AR15 can be built from parts. I am still working on it but have determined the barrel was the issue and also found the Riflespeed gas block to be clogged with copper fragments shaved off from the barrel issue. I have replaced the barrel and cleared out the Riflespeed. I did drill out the gas port right away from .097" to .120" which was the same as the barrel I drilled out on the other build. Ready to re-test.
To make this left handed I used:
CMT Left Handed Upper Receiver - Aero, Stag, and KAK Industry also make left handed upper receivers. I wanted anti-rotation tabs so the CMT upper was my best option. It is very well made.
CMT Ambi Lower Receiver: They make an ambi lower that matches very well with their upper.
Superlative Arms Left Handed Bolt Carrier 5.56/300blk in DLC - you can also get left handed BCG's elsewhere like KAK Industry or Superlative Arms among others.
Toolcraft Left Handed Bolt DLC - KAK makes lefty bolts as well

Sharps Bros handguard 7" (recommend their updated barrel nut on their website that has a parkerized finish if the stock one with the handguard is nitride finished.
Faxon 300 blk 9" barrel 1:5 twist pistol length(switched to BA 8.3" Hanson Low Profile Pistol length gas block Barrel)
Q Rearend plan b radial brake 5/8 x 24 (switched to Breek Arms Plan B Muzzle Brake using Precision Armament Accu-Washers .825")
Railscales Karve Hand stop Black Aluminum
Osight X Green Dot Optic
Osight Picatinny riser mount
Magpul CTR Stock with Enhanced Butt Pad 0.80
Cat ODB 718 Inconel Suppressor (switched out to Ridgeback Defense Sahara 300 Ti)
Breek Arms Plan B Hub Mount (Switched to Diligent Defense Zilch)
