It Can Be Done! | Testing My First Truly Left Handed AR15 Build
Published: 3 weeks ago
** I do not show any of the assembly process**
I have put together my first ar15 in 300 Blk and go to the range to test it. I have had to make some changes to this rifle to get it to run, but it runs now. My goal with this project was to prove a true left handed AR15 can be built from parts.
To make this left handed I used:
CMT Left Handed Upper Receiver - Aero, Stag, and KAK Industry also make left handed upper receivers. I wanted anti-rotation tabs so the CMT upper was my best option. It is very well made. They also make an ambi lower that matches very well, I used this on a different build.
Cryptic Left Handed BCG 5.56/300blk - you can also get left handed BCG's elsewhere like KAK Industry or Superlative Arms among others.
The lower receiver on this build is from my VKTR 5.56 rifle. It is a solid ambi lower. You can also use the CMT ambi lower, FCD/SOLGW ambi lower, Griffin Armament ambi lower, or any other ambi lower.
Other parts used (everything else can be universal, it does not matter with a left handed or right handed ar15):
Riflespeed Adjustable Gasblock
Sentry Manufacturing Deadlock Charging Handle
Kung Fu grip from Die Free Co.
Handleitgrips grip tape - black premium sandpaper
FCD no snag Forward assist
Radian Talon Safety
Midwest industries combat handguard 7"
KAK 300 blk 8.5 oem barrel 1:7 twist
Liberty Precision Liberty Bell plan b muzzle brake 5/8 x 24
Northwest Concepts K2 handstop in aluminum
Holosun SCRS Green Dot optic
Reptilia Mount for Holosun optic - 909T footprint
Magpul DT Stock
Cat ODB 718 Inconel Suppressor
Rearden Hub Gen 2 Plan B Atlas Titanium Mount
