I unbox, review, and disassemble the Arno Bernard Turaco Button Lock (Plunge Lock). The craftsmanship is top notch to match the price point. If you are a plunge lock fan, this knife will definitely make you happy. As a detent guy, I was surprised at how good this knife felt.

“Concerning the lock. We clamped the blade in a vice and used excessive force to try and disengage the lock. We did disform the lock section on the blade. It still locked up afterwards but the action wasn't smooth anymore. If you do a light spine wack the lock holds up well.
If you do a hard spine wack the blade it is going to get damaged. We found that it still locks up but if you do a light spine wack it jumps off the lock. (This only happens after the lock was damaged).
To be quite honest we do not recommend any spine whacks. A button lock was not designed for it.”
