Stiletto's October 12, 2026 Pocket Check "New Cold Steel Magnacut Tanto Recon M1 Follow-Up"
Published: 1 week ago
Hello my Blade Brothers and Sisters!!! :-) Well, with the 1st Round of the M1, I wasn't that impressed with, initially, due to the gritty feeling Lubricants they used. :-( They have listened and have fixed that issue; these are smooth!!! :-) Also, I was asked if these are Manufactured by Lion Steel in Maniago, Italy. I researched this question. What I was able to find out is, many believe that this New M1 was Manufactured at Lion Steel, because, Lion Steel Manufactured the 2nd Generation of the Andrew Demko/Cold Steel, Tri-Ad Lock, 4-Max (the Best 4-MAX was, the 2nd Generation One, made in Italy, by Lion Steel)... :-) But, I couldn't find any link between the M1 and Lion Steel. So, my answer is, "I don't know..." But, I would say most likely. :-) And, I would bet that Andrew Demko uses the same Manufacturer for his Italian International AD20S Series, of Shark-Lock Folders, too... :-) But, I cannot swear to this. :-) This is what I just think is the truth, based on how Cold Steel and Demko Knives, have often used the same Manufacturers in the past, that the Original Cold Steel Company often used; they, both have experiences with the same Overseas Manufacturers... So, that's my guess... :-) Time will tell, though, Blade Brothers and Sisters... :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)
