Note:

To "All" that are interested,

My KARVE, after carrying it everywhere, every day, using it and constantly fidgeting with it, since I received it, developed some up and down Blade Play.

So, I took mine apart. And I noticed some lint that got into the Lock-Up area, where the Lock-Bar and Blade Tang come into contact with each other. And there was a rub mark where the Lock-Bar slides on one of the Black SS Liners. So, I lubed all of the internal parts that contact each other or the SS Liners with Gun Grease. And I stretched the Lock-Bar Coil Spring and heavily lubed it with Lithium Based Militec-1 Gun Grease and Oil and reassembled my KARVE.

After the Lube & Tune, I have "Zero" Blade Play or Side to Side and Up and Down; "Zero!" Also, while apart, I checked the Stop Pin sizes; 2 were 4.97mm, and one was 4.89mm thick. I installed the two that are the same size in the front of the KARVE's Lock-Bar and the smaller one I the rear of the KARVE's Lock-Bar.

Also, there wasn't any visible damage to the internal parts at all. And, all of the internals look very heavy-duty, like the Engage Folder I have. I absolutely luv the heavy-duty construction of the KARVE. :-)

And, even with a slight amount up and down Blade Play, due to how far the KARVE's Lock-Bar has to move to become disengaged, even when dirty, I feel this one is, still, very safe, even with a little Blade Play. But if some develops, I say, "Try giving it a Good Cleaning & Lube & Tune. :-)

Mine works perfectly and flawlessly, now; it was just dirty and needed a good cleaning. :-) I absolutely luv the KARVE; it's become one of my "New," All-Time Favorites!!! :-) I absolutely luv to SDUEDC the KARVE. :-) I very highly recommend the KARVE to all Cold Steel Atlas-Lock Fans! :-)

Peace,

Stiletto :-)
