KnivesFAST Review: Spyderco Mike Draper folder
Published: 7 years ago
This knife is a collaboration between Wyoming Knife maker Mike Draper and Spyderco. It is made in Japan and boasts beautiful blue and silver spider web designed scales. It is a piece of amazing art that is equally adept at slicing and cutting jobs. Very solid and yet feels lighter than it's 4.7oz weight. The knife is 8.95" over all.
The modified drop point VG10 blade is 3.67" long.
It has a great titanium pocket clip that is very tight but fits the pocket well. The biggest issue is the liner lock design It does not stick out above the frame, and is hard to actuate to close the knife. Could and should be much better.
This is a terrific and beautiful knife. I have and will use it as an EDC knife at times.
