Knives Fast Review: Steel Will Cutjack Mini
Published: 5 years ago
This is my KnivesFAST review of a great budget EDC Knife, the Steelwill Cutjack Mini. This is the knife I often recommend when folks ask me for a recommendation of a budget EDC blade.
I compare it very favorably to the Spyderco Delica 4. People are very high on the Delica for EDC. I bought a Delica, had it for a while, and then sold it. I was just not impressed. It didn't live up to the hype. This Cutjack has the same handle material (FRN), a similar bade steel (D2 vs VG10), Similar blade length, the Cutjack is half an ounce heavier, and it's a lot less expensive ($36 vs $70-80 for the Delica). I like the open construction and the finger choil on the Cutjack a lot better. It's everything folks like about a Delica in a much less expensive package. It's a lot more solid in the hand as well.
