Knives Fast Review: Ruike Fang
Published: 5 years ago
I went on a shopping trip to my favorite store - Smoky Mountain Knife Works - and after a couple of hours at the selection, I walked away with a knife I'd never heard of from a company I barely knew of. Meet the Ruike Fang. The first time I held it and open and closed it a few times, I knew I had to own it.
This flipper is slick and smooth. Can't beat the action for the price. I bought it for around $36 at SMKW and that is still the price on their web site. I noticed that a few other outlets were out of stock
The blade is a 3.6" drop point made of 14C28N steel. The blue and black textured G10 scales are shaped so nicely and fit the hand well. My only complaint is that they could have rounded the edges on the scales a bit. It weighs in at 5.16 oz, but I assure you that it does not feel heavy at all. I really like the design of the pocket clip and it rides pretty low in the pocket. It's not cumbersome at all. All of this combined make it a perfect EDC for me.
Thanks for watching. Check it out at SMKW.com or your preferred store.
