TRM (Naked) Newtron & Nerd - Slot Mod Discussion and Disassembly - Unboxing

There's a lot in this one! Today we unbox two TRM knives that I bought specifically to have them modded! The good folks over at @KnifeModders are going to replace the thumbstuds with Spydie-hole-style slots! We also talk about what a "Naked Newtron" is, how you can score a TRM, and how you could get this same mod done. I also show what's going on inside the TRM Nerd and how to put it all back together.
UPDATE: Hilary (part of the amazing customer service team at TRM) has officially said that the missing screw was an error, that they're meant to ship with all the screws needed, and that folks can email her (hilary@threeriversmfg.com) if they're in a similar situation to get it sorted out quickly. They really do have great service there at TRM!
