Fascinating new lock mechanism! An inverted liner lock / button lock hybrid?!

Published: 1 year ago

Okay that's wild! This is the Defcon Fulcrum, and it has the same new lock mechanism as that Aurora Knife & Tools Truffle knife! It's basically an inverted liner lock merged with a button lock through the help of a tiny teeter-totter lever bar? Fascinating!

Aurora calls it the "Roundhouse Lock" (because the lever bar is "kicking" the lock bar out), while Defcon calls it the Leverage Lock. In both cases, it's a mechanism invented by Frank She of Scikio International, the Chinese OEM that made both of these knives. Very cool stuff!
