I've never seen anything like what's going on inside this knife, and it's a big part of why the Spyderco Swayback is able to freely drop to your nail when closing while *also* having zero perceivable blade play, despite being on washers. It's honestly brilliant! And this is definitely one of the nerdier videos I've put up, complete with hand-drawn diagrams and everything. ???? Trigger warning: Physics! ????
