"I had no choice in naming this knife. It is a Mutant. Not a bad Mutant unless you’re a bad guy looking at the one I’ve got in my hand, then it looks real bad. Actually a mutant is very simply a mutation, a change brought on by the ongoing process of evolution. And this knife is definitely an evolved creature. I see hints of a Commander, Bowie, CQC-7 and several other flavors that are manifest to varying degrees in this creation. And it is definitely dominated by the best influences of all those other designs."
