Don't Buy A Buck 110 Until You Watch This!

What happens when you take the legendary Buck 110 and update it for modern everyday carry? Today I'm checking out the Buck Slim Heritage Elite, a USA-made folder that keeps the classic Buck look and lockback operation while adding MagnaCut blade steel, a much slimmer profile, and an actual pocket clip.
I'm comparing it directly to my old-school Buck 110 with brass bolsters and ebony handles. The Slim Heritage Elite retains that unmistakable clip-point profile but comes in at roughly 0.38" thick and 5.45 ounces, with a 3.75" MagnaCut blade, deep hollow grind, nickel-silver bolsters, ebony handle material, and Buck's BOS heat-treatment process. Most importantly, it's considerably easier to carry than my 7+ ounce traditional 110.
Huge thanks to my buddies at Knives and More in Huntsville, Alabama for letting me check this one out. If you grew up with a Buck 110 but prefer the thinner, pocket-friendly knives we carry today, I think the Slim Heritage Elite is a really interesting bridge between those two worlds.
