Today I'm taking an up close look at the Kizer Cabox II, a Jonathan Stiles designed fixed blade that completely changed my mind once I started carrying and using it. At first, I thought the large ring would make the knife awkward, but I've found that I don't even need to use it, the ergonomic Micarta handle fits my hand extremely well without it! With a tall, slicey AEB-L blade, a full-size grip, crowned spine, and a robust design built for camp chores, hiking, outdoor use, or everyday carry, the Cabox II offers a lot of knife for around $69.95. If you're looking for an unconventional fixed blade that can really cut, this one might surprise you.
