This $189 Titanium Knife is WAY Better Than I Expected! | KniClad MOWELL

Today we're taking a closer look at one of the most impressive new knives I've had the chance to check out the KniClad MOWELL.

Knighclad is a relatively new knife company to me, and after seeing their designs online, I reached out because I wanted to experience one for myself. They sent me a couple of knives, and while both are impressive, the MOWELL is easily my favorite of the two.
And honestly, I wasn't expecting it to be this good.
The MOWELL combines a titanium handle, green fat carbon fiber inlays, satin S35VN steel, an inset liner lock, and multiple deployment methods into a very refined package. It has a front flipper with aggressive jimping as well as a blade hole for additional deployment options.
The action is incredibly smooth and controlled, with a crisp detent and a satisfying hydraulic-style drop. The blade geometry is also excellent, with a tall flat grind and a thin edge that makes this knife an absolute laser beam for everyday cutting.

In this video, I take a first look at the MOWL, including the action, ergonomics, blade geometry, cutting performance, pocket clip, size, weight, and overall fit and finish.
And then there's the price.
At around $189, this knife offers a combination of titanium, fat carbon fiber, S35VN, and excellent machining that makes it a very interesting value in the premium EDC knife market.
I'm especially impressed by the blade geometry. As I always say, blade geometry cuts, and the MOWL has the kind of thin, tall grind that makes slicing cardboard and other everyday materials incredibly satisfying.
KniClad also has several other interesting designs, including tanto and sheepsfoot models, so I'll be bringing more of their knives to the channel.
