Don't Buy A New Knife Until You See This Molsect
Published: 1 week ago
???? Welcome to JuhVon's Knife Flicks, your go to spot for honest knife reviews, EDC picks, and budget blade finds from a guy who actually carries and uses this stuff!
Today we're unboxing and taking a first look at the Molsect Negroni!
I've had the opportunity to check out several knives from Molsect in the past, including one of their more budget-friendly models as well as knives from their premium Thinker Series. Every Molsect knife I've handled so far has impressed me with its originality, fit and finish, unique styling, and cutting performance.
Now we're checking out the Molsect Negroni.
The Negroni is part of Molesek's cocktail-inspired lineup and features a sharper, more modern profile than its sibling, the Molsect Old Fashioned.
Molesek Negroni specifications and features:
M390 blade steel
Reported hardness of 60.5–61.5 HRC
Titanium handles
PVD-coated blade
Flat grind
Drop-point blade
Liner lock
Front flipper deployment
Sculpted titanium scales
Titanium pocket clip
Lanyard hole
Minimalist hardware and design
One thing that immediately stands out about Molsect knives is their unique design language. The sculpted milling and flowing titanium handles give the Negroni a very organic, almost futuristic appearance while still keeping the overall design extremely clean and minimalist.
The action is excellent right out of the box, with a snappy front flipper, controlled drop, and solid lockup. The M390 blade is also extremely thinly ground and came very sharp from the factory.

This is only the first look. I'll be carrying and using the Molsect Negroni before coming back with a full review and my final thoughts.
Based on my first impressions, though, Molesek may have another winner on their hands.
